Caption: Seen in the picture are MPP Mrs. Rajbansi, Cllr Bradley Singh, Assistant Matron Mrs. Lindiwe Lakha and other nursing staff.
Mrs. Rajbansi who sits of the Heath Portfolio Committee was accompanied by Cllr Bradley Singh of ward 52 to a general meeting with Senior management at the unit 10 clinic. Mrs. Rajbansi expressed appreciation to the management staff in view of the large numbers of out patients seen daily at the clinic.
The ward 52 and surrounding community can expect far wider services after infrastructure upgrades commence by September. The ARV clinic which is presently housed in the former hall will be expanded, a new administration block will be built and the pharmacy will be relocated.
Various challenges were discussed which Mrs. Rajbansi will take up in the Health Portfolio Committee and with other departments. Cllr Bradley Singh will assist community members at a senior citizen level to co-ordinate clinic activities such as the collection of chronic medicines as well as involvement in an outside garden project, said Mrs. Rajbansi.
For any other input into service provision by the clinic Mrs. Rajbansi said that the community is welcome contact the local MF office on 031 500 7580.

Kind Regards
